- Application Process
Applications must be submitted online. There is not a paper form.
Applications to test on an SBFSC test session must be received by the
test chair no later than seven days prior to the test session.
Requests from coaches are not considered to be an application.
Any skater wishing to test must be a member in good standing with the
club. Unpaid test fees, club ice charges, etc can affect this status.
Skaters requesting permission to test at a test session not sponsored by
SBFSC must make that request at least 7 days prior to the test. It is
the skater's responsibility to contact the test chair if needing
permission. Email Sharon Brilliantine at Sharon9852@aol.com for this
permission.
After a test session application has been submitted online successfully
an email confirmation will be sent to the parent and coach.
Completed applications will be scheduled on a first come, first serve
basis with preference given to home club members.
- Test Session Fees and Schedule
All fees must be paid no later than 2 days prior to the test. Payment
can be made by check or Paypal. Checks should be left in the Silver
Blades box at the front office of the rink for pickup by the test chair.
Unpaid test fees may affect a skaters "good standing" status and affect
their ability to test or compete until these unpaid bills are satisfied.
Skaters and Coaches will receive notice of the schedule at least 2 days
prior to the test via email and the schedule will be posted at the rink.
Once the test schedule is posted, the skaters will be charged for the
test unless the test chair is notified prior to the day of the test.
- Day of the Test
Skaters should arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the test
session.
Skaters must notify the test chair that they are present and ready to
test.
Schedule changes are possible so keep notice of the actual schedule
during testing and be prepared to test either before or after the
scheduled time.
It is the coaches responsibility to educate their skaters regarding
proper conduct at a test session.
Any problems occuring during a test session should be brought to the
immediate attention
