(or "How can I be as cool as those kids on Silver Blades")

Dear Silver Blades Member (and soon to be members):

We’re quickly approaching a new Silver Blades Figure Skating year! If you are a current member, your US Figure Skating and Club membership will expire on June 30th. As you know, a current membership is required to test or compete in all USFS sanctioned events above the Basic Skills level.

But there are many other reasons to be a member of the Silver Blades!

  • The ability to skate in a fun, 2-rink facility, with access to the Silver Blades' new Jump and Spin Harness
  • The opportunity to contract Club Ice, available only to Silver Blades members
  • Great Club merchandise including Silver Blades Club jackets, t-shirts and shorts.
  • Lower Testing Fees
  • Financial Assistance to Home Club Members skating at qualifying Regional or Sectional Competitions
  • A Silver Blades Directory
  • A special Junior Board for members 3rd grade and up, who want to be more involved in the Club.
  • Club sponsored activities such as the Annual Banquet & Exhibitions before Competitions.
  • Exclusive, themed skating parties, where Members skate for Free!
  • A US Figure Skating membership number and subscription to the US Figure Skating Magazine.
  • The opportunity to be spotlighted on the Club’s Meet the Member Board.
  • Access to the Club’s New Website at www.silverblades.org.
The Silver Blades Board of Directors are very interested in your thoughts and ideas for the upcoming skating season! If you ever have a question or a suggestion on how we can make this the best year ever, please do not hesitate to contact one of us!! We appreciate your support of our Club!!
