Junior Board
Are you a current member of Silver Blades, and in the 3rd - 12th grade during the 2010-2011 school year?  If so, you are invited to join the Silver Blades Junior Board.
  • What is the Junior Board? The Junior Board is a skater-run organization, which promotes ?Skating, Service, and Socializing!? In the past year, we have planned and held pizza parties, bake sales, a drive to benefit Animal Haven, and other activities to support our club and the community. We also promote leadership and friendship within the club.


  • When do we meet? Generally, meetings are held one Saturday a month, at the rink, volunteers? homes, or at an outside location, like a pizza place.


  • What is the responsibility of the JB members? Basically, to participate as much as possible, to provide ideas for the group, and to respond promptly to e-mail and phone requests.


  • Who is in charge? The Junior Board is currently headed by Rebecca McMullen.

The Junior Board just finished a blanket drive to benefit the Lawrence Humane Society.
A total of 15 bags of blankets were collected and delivered.
There was a behind the scenes tour of the facility and a chance to meet some of the furry friends.
