Silver Blades FSC of KC is an active and energetic figure skating club with members throughout the Greater Kansas City area. Our mission is to be a leader in the sport and art of figure skating by challenging each member to achieve one’s highest potential and personal goals. As part of this mission we support our members with coordination of Club Ice, Training Classes and Testing sessions as well as access to various seminars and social activities throughout the year. We host the Heart of America Invitational Competition each year open to skaters across the country and we are a member club of the Midwest Figure Skating Council.

Freestyle sessions are at no charge to all Silver Blades Home Club and Associate members on a first come first served basis, with a priority given to Home Club members. There is a limit of 26 skaters on a session. Pairs skating is not allowed on this freestyle ice. Coaches of Silver Blades members are welcome to coach such members on this freestyle ice at no charge.
Program ice will also be at no charge to all Silver Blades Home Club and Associate members and will give a preference to Home Club Members and otherwise will be on a first signed up basis. Sign ups will be through Sign Up Genius and will be taken until the session is filled. If a skater has two pieces of music, the 2nd piece will only be played if all others who have signed up have been allotted a time slot. When signing up you will need to give the length of each piece of music so we can properly allocate time slots to skaters. All music will need to be submitted on a CD.
